The Fire Service has always had a "Can Do" attitude. Due to our ability to make things happen we have taken on so many other jobs in addition to fire suppression. Still our core mission and what the public expects more than anything is for us to quickly and effectively respond to and extinguish structural fires. With fewer working fires and more time taken up by additional duties, it is easy to lose our focus for fire suppression. We cannot let that happen, we must stay trained, vigilant, and Fireground Ready.
Welcome to the Fireground Ready website. This website and the courses offered by the Fireground Ready staff have been designed to steer firefighters away from the path of complacency and get their minds focused back on fire suppression. The website is intended to provide course information and the means to network with the Fireground Ready Instructors as well as other Fire Service professionals. Our future goals are to offer articles, prop ideas, fire service pictures, tips, a forum and more. The courses offered by Fireground Ready focus primarily on hands-on training, basics that are proven and “street smart” tricks of the trade. Being “Fireground Ready” is hardwork it requires a tremendous amount of personal discipline, knowledge, training, experience, and dedication.
